Dr. Ryan Schwiesow, D.C.

Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Schwiesow was born and raised in Northwest Iowa. He is a 1992 graduate of West Sioux High School. He graduated from Buena Vista University in 1996 with a B.S. in Chemistry. Dr. Schwiesow then attended Northwestern Health Sciences University in the Twin Cities. Dr. Schwiesow graduated from NWHSU in 1999. After completing an externship at the Back Treatment Center in Rochester Minnesota Dr. Schwiesow returned home to Northwest Iowa. He started Back to Health Chiropractic Care, P.C. in the winter 1999. Dr. Schwiesow is proud to have helped patients in the Hawarden/Ireton area for over 13 years.

Dr. Schwiesow has special training in sports chiropractic and rehabilitation. He serves as a sideline physician for West Sioux athletics. Dr. Schwiesow treats athletes from college to elementary and also the weekend warriors. Although treating athletes is his passion Dr. Schwiesow enjoys treating patients of all ages and activity levels.

Dr. Schwiesow is married to Heather (Daggett) Schwiesow and they have two children; Payton (age 11) and Aaden (age 9). When Dr. Schwiesow isn’t working he enjoys coaching his kids’ basketball, football, softball, and baseball games. He also enjoys hunting and fishing.
